Cea de-a 18-a editie a premiilor MTV Europe Music Awards s-a desfasurat duminica seara, la Odyssey Arena din Belfast.
Dupa cum multi au anticipat, marea a castigatoare a fost Lady Gaga, artista nominalizata la nu mai putin de sase categorii. Gaga a plecat acasa cu patru premii: Best Song, Best Female, Best Video si Biggest Fans.
Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars si 30 seconds to mars au fost recompensati cu cate doua trofee.
Trupa Queen a primit premiul Global Icon Award si a oferit celor prezenti o prestatie live de exceptie. In formula Roger Taylor, Brian May si Adam Lambert cei de la Queen au interpretat binecunoscutele "The Show Must Go On", 'We Will Rock You" si "We Are The Champions".
